We had been casually lookig for an airplane to purchase for nearly two years. We primarily looked at Tri-Pacers, Colts and the like. What we found was plenty of overpriced junk! In 2000 we drove 1,000 miles to Airventure at Oshkosh to experience the glory of flight and the people who, like us, love anything aviation. After an all night drive back home and recalling a couple of guys we talked to from our home town who flew there in 6.5 hours we decided to get serious about finding a plane. While at a Air Museum Dinner we met a man who had a Cessna 172 for sale. We chatted with him about the plane and went to see it the next day. We liked what we saw and the next day we got the keys so we could get inside and poke around a bit. From here the work bagan, which you will read about as you go through this site.
